Maree is a qualitative social researcher focused on marine and coastal governance and policy, with the Institute for Marine & Antarctic Studies, and Centre for Marine, University of Tasmania. She has a particular interest in the intersections between community, private (industry) and public governance.
Corrine was a PhD candidate investigating the conflict and communication in regards to Tasmanian aquaculture. Corrine now works for CSIRO (The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation is an Australian Government agency responsible for scientific research).
Katie was a PhD candidate investigating civic participation and placemaking in the Antarctic gateway cities.
