Back in the (original) Homeland!

I suppose the big news for me is that I have moved from Tasmania back to Scotland. However, I do come back as a Scottish-Australian citizen.

In January 2022 I took up a post as Assistant Professor in Marine Governance and Blue Economy at the International Centre for Island Technology in Orkney - part of Heriot-Watt University.

It has been quite a big move and has taken a bit of time to get back into the swing of things in the UK. It is amazing just how much has changed here in the six years that I've been away! I'm slowly getting back on my feet and hoping to regularly update this website once again. It is likely to get a bit of an overhaul - so you may see some major changes occurring, but hopefully they are for the better.
